“[NetCrunch is] a product which is easy to install and configure and does not need a powerful server. It works really simply and efficiently”.

Key benefits:

  • Easy to install
  • Easy to use and efficient
  • Shortens reaction time to a network problem

The Challenge

Given the nature of the service provided by the Fédération Bancaire Française (FBF), the main challenge of the system is to ensure that the service is constantly operation, particularly in regards to telecommunications and emails. “Our main concern is to be able to react quickly when a problem occurs in the network, in order to avoid any negative impact it might have on our collaborators and the computer system”.

“The choice was pretty simple“. The FBF chose NetCrunch because it is easy-to-use and efficient, “a product which is easy to install and configure (agentless) and does not need a powerful server. It works really simply and efficiently”.

The Solution

NetCrunch has helped the FBF with improving the process of problem identification and problem solving.  When issues arise in the network, configuration of events and diagnostic tools enable very efficient alerting. Moreover, thanks to NetCrunch’s unique and intuitive console, no agent is needed to monitor the different servers

“NetCrunch enabled us to identify and resolve many problems (disk space, overused memory and processors, down services, failed communication with a node, etc.), and to improve our computer system.”
